Eurofringes. Translating Texts, Translating Cultures aims to explore the way in which cultures are a fluid concept, being ‘translated’ from one geographical space to another, by means of individual authors and texts. Thus, the approach of this volume is to re-present cultural narratives and texts in their diversity as it examines the dynamics between translation and culture regarded as re-construction, encounter and negotiation of texts. The chapters critically engage with, reflect upon and interpret (inter)cultural encounters within the analyzed texts, in line with the most recent developments in the field of Cultural Transfer as a a measurable category of research. 

Eurofringes can be used as a practical tool, as bibliographical reference and methodological aid for academics teaching in literary, translation or cultural studies and is equally suitable for researchers in the broad field of culture.
