The human-god relation is immanently reiterated in the relation between rulers and ruled. The sacred world is the reference model for all our strivings. The quest for happiness is the driving cause that generates and activates all human beliefs, gaining momentum and meaning through the verbs „to save”, „to heal”, „to redeem”, both here and beyond our material world. Connecting the sacred to the physical world is the first assignment of the political. All these considerations are of interest to whoever wishes an in-depth analysis of societal, religious and political phenomena from a scholarly psychoanalytic perspective.
